HI-Boston at Fenway Directions

The Fenway Summer Hostel is located at at 575 Commonwealth Avenue, in Kenmore Square. We are less than a block from the Kenmore subway and bus station.

By Subway

From South Station (Amtrak and bus station)
Take red line of the subway inbound to Park Street and change to green line outbound. Take B, C, or D train to Kenmore. Go through the turnstiles and take the exit on the right. The hostel is 2 blocks west on Commonwelth Ave. on your right at 575 Commonwealth Avenue.

From the Airport
Take the free Massport Shuttle bus to the Airport subway stop. Take the blue Line inbound to the Government Center T stop. Change to a Green Line and take a b, C, or D train going Westbound. Get off at the Kenmore Sq. stop. Go through the turnstiles and take the exit on the right.  The hostel is 2 blocks up the street on your right at 575 Commonwealth Avenue .

By Car

SOUTH (From Cape Cod or I-95 to I-93 North)

1. Take Route 3 to I-93 to Mass Ave. exit toward Boston, not Roxbury. (There is A LOT of construction. Go slow and follow signs!)
2. Take a right onto Mass. Ave. Go about three miles - you will pass the Christian Science Center on your right.
3. Follow Massachusetts Avenue and go left on Commonwealth Av through Kenmore Sq to HI-Fenway 575 Commonwealth Avenue on your right.

NORTH

1. South on I-93 to Storrow Drive.
2. Continue on Storrow. (about 5 minutes)
3. Drive West to the Kenmore exit. (left hand exit, next exit after Mass. Ave.)
4. Kenmore exit off Storrow Drive. Bear right after exit.
5. At the 2nd light take a right on Commonwealth Av through Kenmore Sq to HI-Fenway 575 Commonwealth Avenue on your right.

FROM THE AIRPORT

1. Use Sumner Tunnel (Route 1A)/Central Artery/Storrow Drive/Charlesgate Overpass:
2. Take Logan exit to Sumner Tunnel/Route 1 A to Boston.
3. Take I-93 North ramp at end of Sumner Tunnel.
4. After only 1/4 mile, take Storrow Drive exit.
5. Continue on Storrow. (about 5 minutes)
6. Drive West to the Kenmore exit. (left hand exit, next exit after Mass Ave)
7. Kenmore exit off Storrow Drive. The exit is to your left. Bear right at exit.

WEST

1. Use Massachusetts Turnpike Extension/Storrow Drive/Charlesgate Overpass
2. Take I-90 East Massachusetts Turnpike to Boston.
3. Exit at Cambridge tolls and proceed towards Cambridge.
4. Turn right onto Storrow Drive East before crossing the Charles River.
5. Continue on Storrow . (about 5 minutes)
6. Drive East to the Kenmore exit. (right hand exit, next exit after Mass Ave)
7. Kenmore exit off Storrow Drive. The exit is to your left. Bear right at exit.
